Before Your Session
- Test your audio and video settings in RingCentral Events platform
- Have the Collaborative Learning Padlet link ready to share. It can be found here: Resource Board
- Review the session topic and prepare some initial guiding questions
Session Structure (45 minutes)
- Welcome and Introduction (5 minutes)
- Introduce yourself briefly
- Set ground rules for respectful dialogue
- Everyone's voice matters - consider using "round robin" for key questions
- Use the "raise hand" feature to speak
- Keep comments concise
- Build on others' ideas
- Disagreement is welcome when expressed respectfully
- Explain the role of the scribe and ask someone to act as the scribe
- Ask participants to introduce themselves with: name, school/organization, role. To save time, you can have them do this in the chat.
- Topic Framing (5 minutes)
- Create an operational definition of the topic
- Have participants share what they hope to learn
- Establish shared goals for the discussion

Scribe Guidelines
Assign a scribe at the beginning of your session to:
